Cement shortage in Assam is likely amid border clashes

Meghalaya Cement Company has taken a tough decision.The Lumsulung-based company has stopped supplying cement to Assam.Several cement companies, including Dalmia, have taken the decision.
There are many trucks registered in Assam that are stranded on the roads till midnight.
The incident took place on November 22 morning when six people were killed in an argument between Assam forest officers and Khasi miscreants over illegal timber smuggling at Makra under Jirikinding police station in West Karbi Anglong district.
