Simala Prasad: Working in Bollywood films is a very challenging task for an IPS officer, but IPS officer Simala Prasad has succeeded in doing so.  Simala Prasad is a tough police officer and criminals are afraid of her. Let's know about IPS officer Simala Prasad.
Simala Prasad was fond of dancing and acting since childhood.  She always took part in dance and acting during her school days.  Simala Prasad also acted in many plays during her school and college days.
Simala Prasad was born on 8 October 1980 in Bhopal and completed her studies from Bhopal itself.  Simala Prasad's early education took place at St. Joseph's Coed School.  After this, she passed the PSC examination by doing B.Com from Student for Excellence and PG from BU.  Simala Prasad, who did her PG in Sociology from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, has also been a Gold Medalist.
After passing the PSC exam, Simala Prasad's first posting was as a DSP.  During this job, she prepared for the UPSC exam and got success in the first attempt itself.  Simala did not resort to any coaching institute to become an IPS, but was successful in clearing UPSC through self-study.  Simala Prasad says that she never thought that she wanted to join the civil service, but her home environment made her wish to become an IPS.
Director Jagham Imam met Simala Prasad during a program in Delhi and after seeing the simplicity and beauty of Shimla, he asked for an appointment.  Imam then narrated the script of his film 'Alif' to Simala and offered her a role in the film.  'Alif' was Simala's debut film and it released in February 2017.  Simala also worked in the film 'Nakkash' released in 2019.
