Armenia has become the 104th full member of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), Foreign Ministry official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal announced on Thursday. Established on November 30, 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Francois Hollande, ISA aims to increase solar energy, solar power generation through aggregation of demand for solar finance, technologies, innovation, R&D and capacity building costs are to be reduced.
Sharing a post on X, Jaiswal wrote, "Armenia has become the 104th full member of the International Solar Alliance. Armenia in India today with Joint Secretary (ED & MER) and Head of Depository @Abhishekif in New Delhi." Ambassador Wahgan Afyan hand over the Instrument of Ratification to @isolaralliance during the meeting gave.
