Neiphiu Rio was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Nagaland for the fifth time on Tuesday.  Nagaland Governor La Ganeshan administered the oath of office to Neiphiu Rio as CM.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma were present on the occasion.
 Besides Chief Minister Rio, Taditui Rangkou Zeliang and Yanthungo Patton were sworn in as deputy CMs.  Besides, nine MLAs were sworn in as ministers.  The MLAs who took oath as ministers include G Kaito Aye, Jacob Jhimomi, KG Kenye, P Paiwang Konyak, Metsubo Zamir, Temzen Imna Along, CL John, Salhautuonuo Cruz and P Bashangmongba Chang.
