Conrad Sangma will be sworn in as Meghalaya Chief Minister for a second term on March 7. The NPP will form a government with the BJP, HSPDP, PDF and IND after winning 26 seats in the election results announced on Thursday. Changma has already handed over his resignation letter to Governor Fagu Chouhan on Friday and submitted his proposal to form the government. The Conrad Sangma-led NPP won 26 seats in the recently announced Meghalaya Assembly elections while the BJP, HSPDP, PDF and IND won two seats each.
