China is building a dam on the Medog border near Arunachal Pradesh, which can become a problem for India. This dam is being built on Yarlung Tsangpo River, which is known as Brahmaputra in India. The central government is building many dams in Arunachal Pradesh. So that the storage capacity can be balanced.
The Chinese government has so far built 11 hydroelectric projects on the Brahmaputra river. Due to these dams, there have been unusual changes in the flow of the river. Whenever it wants, China opens the doors of these dams. ever closes. The North-Eastern states of India suffer the most during rains.
