PM Modi has been honored by Nigeria with its award- The Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved another major feat.  PM Modi, who is on a visit to the African country of Nigeria, has been honored by Nigeria with its award- The Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).  Only Queen Elizabeth has previously received the honour.  PM Modi is the second foreign leader to receive the honour.  The Queen of Britain was awarded the prize in 1969.  This is the 17th international award given to Prime Minister Modi by a country.
