On February 29, PM Modi had inagurated the Vedic clock in Ujjain, the city of Mahakal.  It is considered very important for astrologers.  Besides, Ujjain has also become a center of attraction for the devotees who come to see Mahadev.  Regarding the Vedic clock, it is said that it is related to centuries old history.  It is believed that before 1906, time was calculated through the Vedic clock.
