Nationaldesk:
50 employees who were fraudulently recruited in Delhi's Tihar Jail have been suspended.  These include 30 warders, 9 assistant superintendents and two other employees.  Taking strict action against all of them, they have been suspended by giving one month's notice on 30th November.
Actually, according to Tihar Jail officials, these recruitments were done by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSB) in the year 2020.  These recruitments were done through biometric method.  However, when DSSB later did the verification, the biometrics and photos of 50 employees did not match.  After this there was a stir in the department.
DSSB had conducted biometric verification drive in Delhi's Tihar Jail.  This drive was conducted in the last week of November.  From 2019 till now, the biometric samples of all the new recruitments done for the post of Warder and Assistant Superintendent in Tihar Jail through the DSSSB exam were matched with the samples of the employees present in the jail.
The investigation did not match the data available with DSSB.  This has given rise to apprehensions that the staff working in the jail and the people taking the exams in their names were different.  As an action, the salaries of all those employees were stopped and notices were issued to them to reply.  After the final report of DSSSB came, now the employees fraudulently recruited on different posts in Tihar Jail have been suspended.  Let us tell you that during the recruitment process, DSSSB collects and keeps the data of all the candidates safe.
