Mount Etna of the Italian Sicily island has been continuously spewing lava for thousands of years. It is dangerous for people but is very special for the trees, plants and animals there. Many records are registered in the name of Mount Etna of Italy. It is the world's most active "stratovolcano". Stratovolcana means triangular volcano, which is made up of a layer of lava, ash and stones and explodes rapidly.
It is the largest and most active volcano in Europe and is among those volcanoes which are monitored well. Apart from this, it is such a volcano which has the longest documents and it is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage.Mount Etna is present above the city of Catania located on the eastern coast of the Italian island of Sicily. Its height is 3,357 meters i.e. 11,014 feet and it Spread over an area of 1,250 square kilometers.
