Prominent Vaishnava Pandit, Satradhikar Lilakanta Mahanta has passed away

Prominent Vaishnava Pandit  and Satradhikar of Barkhatpar Satra Lilakanta Mahanta has passed away.He passed away at the age of 92.He was a former president of the Assam Satra Mahasabha for two terms.He was also the secretary for two terms.He wrote several books in Assamese and English.The prominent Vaishnava Pandit had been ill for the past few days and was admitted to the Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh on January 31 in critical condition.
