National Desk:
Sukhoi fighter jets and drones flew fiercely on the second day of the Indian Air Force maneuvers at the Tezpur airbase in Assam amid the ongoing tussle with China in Arunachal Pradesh.  The two-day exercise ended on Friday evening.  Fighter aircraft and UAVs started flying at Tezpur airbase since morning.  Flying of Sukhoi fighter jets one after the other, the air space of Tezpur echoed with thunder.  During this, UAVs of the Air Force also kept flying continuously in the sky of Tezpur.
If there is a violation of air space from the Chinese side on the LAC adjacent to Arunachal Pradesh, then Sukhoi fighter jets are scrambled from this Tezpur air base.  Helicopter flying was drilled at Tezpur airbase on Thursday evening.  One after the other Chinook and other helicopters practiced night flying operation in the sky of Tezpur.  Tezpur is the only Indian Air Force base in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh where fighter aircraft are stationed.  Apart from this, helicopters and drones are also stationed here.
