President Murmu presented the Jnanpith Award to Jagatguru Rambhadracharya on Friday. President Draupadi Murmu today gave the 58th Jnanpith Award to Sanskrit scholar Jagatguru Rambhadracharya in New Delhi. This award is for the year 2023. Jagatguru Rambhadracharya and famous Urdu poet and lyricist Gulzar have also been selected for this award for 2023. Both of them have received this honor for their special contribution in the field of literature.
According to a statement issued by the President's Secretariat, the President congratulated both the litterateurs on this occasion. Jagatguru Rambhadracharya expressed happiness on receiving the award. He said that his literary work has been recognized. He said, "His literary work has been honored." Jnanpith Award is the biggest award given in the field of literature. This award is given every year. This year this award has been given to two people.
