Vikram-S Launched: India's sting in space program, first private rocket launch with three satellites

Skyroot Aerospace Rocket Launch: India's first private rocket 'Vikram-S' took off from the spacecraft on Friday carrying three satellites.  The six meter long Vikram-S is named after Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the space programme.  It was launched at 11.30 am.  Vikram-S has been developed by Skyroot Aerospace.  The mission has been named 'Prarambh' as ​​a symbol of a new beginning.  Vikram-S flew into space carrying satellites from Chennai-based start-up Space Kidz, Andhra Pradesh's start-up N-Space Tech and Armenian start-up BazumQ Space Research Lab.  After this successful launch, ISRO wrote in a tweet from the official Twitter handle, mission launch successfully completed. 
Sharing the YouTube link of the launch, Skyroot Aerospace wrote in a tweet, 'Touched an altitude of 89.5 km.  Vikram-S rocket fulfilled all the criteria of flight.  This is history for India.  Keep watching.  Union Minister Jitendra Singh was present during the launch of Vikram-S in Sriharikota.  On Twitter, Jitendra Singh shared a picture with the team members of Skyroot Aerospace, in the caption of which he wrote, 'With the startup team of Skyroot Aerospace in Sriharikota shortly before the launch of India's first private rocket Vikram-S.  It is named after Vikram Sarabhai, who was the father of the space program in India.  Countdown has begun.
