Tribute to our beloved Tilottoma Barooah

     To begin with one feels still difficult to think of her as Late Tilottoma Barooah .It is difficult to accept that she is no more or she left us a years ago .She meant so much to everyone who came into contact with her that she became  a benevolent presence in their lives .In fact , a kind of a good angel to all of them .
     Here are a few words in a tribute to her on her 5th Death Anniversary to reflect the deep affection and gratitude felt towards by many of her admirers, including both the family member and fans .
    Late Mrs. Barooah an educationist and educational administrator, left her mark in five decades of her public service .Born into a respectable family of Assam, had her early education in Shillong and Guwahati . Later for her higher studies , she went to Tata Institute of Social Science . Afterwards she started her careers as education administrator at various levels from Inspector of Schools till reaching the position of Director of Secondary Education .In addition she remained involved with various other educational institutions and organizations .Her kind , yet firm attitude in handling educational issues made her as popular as she had become in her life .
    We like her many other admirers,remember her simple loving nature which was manifested in her always being the first to contact them  to wish them , to congratulate them and to inspire them . She was full of positive energy and a good angel  indeed .
