The railway department has canceled the Shillong-New Haflong passenger train

The New Haflong Railway Station was destroyed by floods and landslides in the past few days .Train services were completely disrupted  .The North East Frontier Railway (NEFR) issued a directive on Monday afternoon after the situation stabilized.The city government has issued directives to run a special passenger train between Shillong-New Haflong and Shillong from Tuesday.  The train will leave Shillong at 7.20 am and arrive at New Haflong at 11.30 am with 11 coaches  .The train will leave New Haflong at 3.30 pm and arrive at Shilchar at 8.30 pm.However, the Railway department canceled the Silchar New Haflong passenger train again indefinitely before it left Shillong on Tuesday morning.
