The State Department's press conference is usually addressed by the department's spokesperson, Ned Prince, but he is currently on leave.  Because of this Patel led the press conference.  He put America's foreign policy in front of the media.  At the briefing, Patel congratulated Liz Truss on becoming the Prime Minister of Britain.  Together they talked about the Ukraine-Russia war.
White House Senior Associate Communications Director Matt Hill congratulated Patel on Twitter.  "It's a big deal to represent America to the world and Patel spoke effectively on the podium," he said.
"It was nice to see Vedanta Patel on the podium," said former White House deputy communications director Pili Tobar.  On Twitter, he congratulated Vedanta.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki praised her colleague Vedanta Patel, calling him "super talented".  She said, “I often jokingly tell Vedanta that he gives you easy tasks, but it is not so, he makes everything easy.”  Jane told that Patel is also a very good writer.  Career in the field related to government will be good in future.
