Droupadi Murmu: Speak in Algeria President, contribution of Indian community abroad commendable

President Murmu is on a three-nation tour of Africa from October 13 to 19, visiting Algeria, Mauritania and Malawi.  She arrived in Algeria on the first day of the series.  She addressed the Indian community in Algiers as well as interacted with their children.  On the occasion, President Murmu appreciated the Indian community for their cooperation in the development of India.  "With the collective efforts of 1.4 billion Indians, we have embarked on a new journey of hope and aspiration," she said.  While India is moving ahead at a brisk pace, Alegria and the goodwill of the Indian community abroad cannot be overemphasized.
