Two retired army officers have been appointed as governors of two border states, Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh, amid fears of Chinese invasion.
President Draupadi Murmu on Sunday appointed retired army officer Lt. Gen. KT Parnaik as Governor of Arunachal Pradesh while incumbent BD Mishra was appointed Deputy Governor of Ladakh.
Lt. Gen KT Parnayak (retd) served as Joint Managing Director of Defense and Security of Rolta India Limited.
