Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das died at Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was fatally attacked on Sunday afternoon. The minister was attacked by the ASI of the police department. He was seriously injured in the incident and fell bloody on the car seat. The minister was immediately airlifted to Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited Apollo Hospital there and checked on the situation. The incident took place near Brijrajnagar in Jharsuguda district. The accused policeman has been identified as ASI Gopal Das. He was posted at Gandhi Chowk police station. Gopal Das opened fire on Naba Das with his revolver.
