Odisha's Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Das was attacked on Sunday by an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) posted in security.  ASI shot Odisha government minister Naba Das in the chest.  Naba Das has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition where he is fighting for his life.  The incident is of Jharsuguda district.
Naba Das is counted among the influential leaders of Odisha.  Naba Das is counted among the most influential leaders of Jharsuguda district.  Naba Das is counted among the richest ministers in the Odisha government headed by Naveen Patnaik.  How much he is fond of luxury vehicles, it can be gauged from the fact that he has 80 vehicles worth about Rs 16 crore.
It is said that a Mercedes Benz car worth Rs 1 crore 14 lakh is also included in the huge fleet of 80 vehicles with Naba Das.  While Naba Das has cash and investments worth crores of rupees, his wife is also not far behind in terms of assets.  Naba Das's wife also has assets worth crores of rupees.  Naba Das's wife is said to have movable and immovable assets worth more than Rs 30 crore.  According to reports, more than three crore rupees are deposited in different banks of Sambalpur in the name of Naba Das's wife.  There is also a huge investment in shares in the name of Naba Das's wife.
