Airport employees have been involved in gold smuggling at the airport

Three people, including two Air India employees, have been arrested for smuggling about 1.5 kg of gold at Kochi airport in Kerala.
A team from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence arrived at the Kochi airport after receiving a tip-off about the gold smuggling.The team then arrested Abhilash, an employee of Air India Transport Services Limited, while he was accepting gold at a lavatory near the entry hall.The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) later confirmed the involvement of another Air India employee, Vishnu, in the smuggling of gold and arrested him.
