Kisan News: Crores of farmers of the country can once again get great news. The central government is about to take a big decision for the convenience of the farmers. According to the information, the Modi government can increase the subsidy on fertilizers from 2.3 to 2.5 lakh crore rupees in the current financial year.
The Fertilizers Association of India (FAI) has also said that in the coming time i.e. in 2023-24, due to the softening of fertilizer prices in the global market, the government can also reduce the subsidy. According to FAI, there is a possibility of a big drop of 25 per cent in subsidy in the next financial year.
Significantly, by increasing the subsidy on fertilizers in the current financial year, the farmers will get a big relief amid rising inflation. Let us tell you that in the last financial year, the fertilizer subsidy was only Rs 162 lakh crore, but due to this the pressure on the farmers remained.
