Hearing on petition related to law against religious conversion adjourned

The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing till next Monday on a petition demanding an effective law to prevent religious conversion through pressure and influence.  During the hearing held today in this regard, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the government will collect information from all the states and give it to the Supreme Court.  It will take one more week.  Therefore, the hearing of this matter should be postponed till next week.
On the other hand, when the petitioner's lawyer Sanjay Hegde interrupted when the hearing was postponed, Justice Shah said that when a serious discussion is taking place, restraint should be exercised.  
At the same time, the Solicitor General said that there is a highly empowered independent statutory authority .  They will do a complete investigation and decide whether there is greed behind the change of religion?  The Supreme Court has also justified the laws made by some of the many states.  That law was made on the basis of the report of the judicial commission.
