NDTV: Pranay Roy and Radhika Roy resign as directors

NDTV owners and founders Pranay Roy and Radhika Roy have resigned from the post of directors of RRPR Holding Pvt Ltd (RRPRH).  The resignation letter took effect from Tuesday, November 29, the company said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).  Sudipta Bhattacharya, Sanjay Puglia and Senthil Sinniah Chengalvarayan have been appointed as directors on the Board of RRPRH.  With these appointments, Adani Group has entered the board of NDTV.
Radhika Roy and Pranay Roy are the co-founders of NDTV.  His resignation as a director of RRPR comes a day after the firm transferred up to 99.5 per cent of its equity capital to Vishwapradhan Commercial Private Limited (VCPL).  VCPL is owned by AMG Media Networks Limited (AMNL), the media arm of the Adani Group.
