Military Budget: India is third behind Russia in military spending, only America and China are ahead

 India remains one of the top three countries in the world in terms of defense spending.  According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), a Swedish defense think tank, India ranks second only to the United States and China in military spending in 2021.  Earlier, New Delhi surpassed Moscow in 2020 military spending figures.
 According to SIPRI, India's defense spending has increased by about 33 percent from 2012 to 2021.  Expenditure increased by 0.9 percent in 2021 as compared to 2020.  According to the data, India spent about ৭ 6.8 billion (about Rs 5,08,256 crore) in the military sector that year.  Crores of rupees).  China's, 29.3 trillion (approximately Rs. 22.46 trillion).  Incidentally, US defense spending fell 1.4 percent, but China rose 4.6 percent.  The SIPRI estimates that the United States, Russia, China, India and the United Kingdom together account for 72% of the world's total defense spending.
