India Elected As Vice-Chair Of ‘Supply Chain Council’

India is poised to play an important role in developing a resilient supply chain in the Indo-Pacific region, as it has been elected Vice-Chair of the Supply Chain Council.  Specifically, India and 13 other Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) partners have established three supply chain bodies under the historic Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) agreement related to supply chain resilience.  During the meetings, each of the three supply chain bodies elected a president and vice president, who would serve for a two-year term.
