Japanese Encephalitis has Claimed 27 lives in Assam

Japanese Encephalitis  has claimed the lives of 27 persons across Assam in the month of July. According to the National Health Mission Assam report, as many as 169 cases have been reported in Assam in the month of July. 
Further on July 16, 9 new cases and 4 deaths were reported. Of the 9 cases, 1 was from Goalpara and Kokrajhar, 2 each from Sivsagar and Sonitpur, and 3 from Golaghat. The four deaths were reported from Jorhat.
