Algeria joined the BRICS New Development Bank

Algeria has been approved as the newest member of the BRICS New Development Bank, joining other countries exploring alternatives to international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the IMF.
 In addition to Algeria, the BRICS New Development Bank has welcomed other countries including Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Saudi Arabia as part of its growing membership.
