Indian Army's UAV Rudrastra ready

UAV Rudrastra has been developed to give a tough fight to the enemies. Solar Defense and Aerospace Ltd. (SDAL) has successfully tested its state-of-the-art hybrid VTOL UAV 'Rudrastra' at Pokhran Firing Range. This test was conducted keeping in mind the needs and technical standards of the Indian Army. This UAV has proved completely successful in this.

During the testing, the UAV covered a mission radius of more than 50 kilometers. It successfully returned to the launch point with a stable real-time video link. Its total flight range was more than 170 kilometers while its estimated flight capacity was about 1.5 hours.
