Sad news! Well-known writer, Professor Shrutimala Duarah passed away

Shrutimala Duarah, a well-known writer, associate professor and educationist of Handiuqe Girls College, passed away on Wednesday.
The famous writer passed away in Guwahati on Monday.
Duarah was a founding member of the North East Writers Forum.She was very popular as a bilingual writer.Shrutimala Duarah was reportedly diagnosed with ovarian cancer a few years ago.She also recently launched a book titled ‘My Journey Through Cancer’, in which she described her post-cancer experience.
