Social media platform Reddit on Wednesday announced the appointment of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador.
The company said in a statement that sports fans will now get special opportunities to connect with Tendulkar in the 'Reddit Community'.
Through his official Reddit profile, legendary batsman Tendulkar will share his personal thoughts, match information and exclusive content.
The statement said, "In the coming months, Tendulkar will also be seen in a new marketing campaign for Reddit in India as well as other markets around the world." On his association with Reddit, Tendulkar said, "For me cricket has always been about the connection with people on and off the field. After knowing Reddit, what stands out the most is the passion that brings its community together."
