The HSLC examination will be held for the last time in the state

The state education department is fully prepared to enforce the National Education Policy.
The National Education Policy will come into force in the state from next academic year.
With the entry into force of the new education policy, there are likely to be major changes in the curriculum of schools and colleges.
The HSLC examination will be held for the last time in the state.
Instead, the Class 10 examinations will be held from next year.
The CEBA is preparing to conduct the matric examinations this year in accordance with the new education policy.  The CEBA has made changes in four major subjects this year.  Accordingly, 50 per cent objective questions will be in four subjects in the HSLC examination this year.  For the first time, there will be two separate answer sheets in Mathematics, English, General Science and Social Science.
