National Desk:
The range of India's longest range nuclear ballistic missile Agni-5 has been increased.  Earlier its range was 5000 km.  Now it can hit a distance of more than 7000 kilometers.  The Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) replaced the steel in the missile with a composite material.  Due to which the weight of the missile was reduced by more than 20 percent.
Defense Department officials told that the government wanted to increase the range of Agni-5 missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads to more than 7000 km.  That's why DRDO worked again on this missile.  Now this missile can achieve the range which was told.  It is expected that the same will be done with the rest of the Agni series missiles.
