Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) scam, 6 executive engineers arrested including transparency officer

20 crore scam in Guwahati Municipal Corporation.Seven accused involved in scam arrested.The CM's Special Monitoring Cell arrested seven officers.CM Vigilance arrested six executive engineers including transparency officer Asif Ahmed.The arrested officers are Babulal Sharma, Chittaranjan Dutta Gogoi and Asif Ahmed.
The victims were identified as Hiranya Burman, Shankar Medhi and Seemantajyoti Barua.The officers were arrested on charges of mud disposal scam.
