Bollywood star Sunny Deol's clarification: I was being treated in America, so could not vote in the presidential election

Famous Bollywood star Sunny Deol has clarified for not voting in the presidential election.  Sunny said that he is undergoing treatment in America.  He was not in the country.  Because of this, he could not vote in the recently concluded presidential election.  Punjab's Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol was being criticized for not voting.  He is also often discussed about his non-availability in his parliamentary constituency.
Sunny Deol's spokesperson said that he had suffered an injury while shooting for the film sometime back.  He first got treatment in Mumbai.  But, later he had to go to America for treatment.  He is undergoing treatment in the US for the last 2 weeks.  Meanwhile, the presidential election came.  Due to not being in the country, he could not participate.  As soon as he recovers, he will return to the country immediately.  Sunny's 4 movies Baap, Suriya, Gadar 2 and Apne 2 are getting ready.
Two MPs did not vote in the Presidential elections in Punjab.  These include Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol and Faridkot MP Muhammad Sadiq.  The 3 MLAs include Manpreet Ayali of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal of Congress and Hardev Ladi.  Ayali boycotted the election by refusing to vote for the Akali Dal's unconditionally BJP-backed NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu.
