Death toll rises in Amarnath: 15,000 pilgrims rescued, 15 dead, at least 40 still missing

So far, 15 people have been reported dead.  Heavy rains on Friday washed away at least 25 camps housing pilgrims in the area between the Amarnath caves and Kalimata.  So far, 15 people have died and 40 pilgrims are still missing.However, 15,000 pilgrims have been rescued alive. The National Disaster Response Force and Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Response Force have already started work to rescue the pilgrims  The Indo-Tibetan border police arrived in the area by helicopter.  The Indian Army deployed six teams to rescue the pilgrims.  The rescued pilgrims have been flown elsewhere and the injured have been sent to hospitals.  The important thing is that;  It's still raining there.  However, the Indo-Tibetan border police said the situation was under control.  The Prime Minister and Home Minister, along with President Ram Nath Kovind, expressed their deep condolences over the incident.
