Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot dead on Friday.  He was speaking at a rally in Nara town when a man opened fire.  The important thing is that;  Shinzo Abe had a strong relationship with India.  He has visited India five times so far.He made his first visit to India in 2006 when he was the Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan.  He visited India in 2007 after becoming Prime Minister for the first time in  Between 2012 and 2020, he visited India three more times while serving as Prime Minister for the second time.  He is the first Japanese Prime Minister to visit India so many times.Shinzo Abe was the first Japanese Prime Minister to be the chief guest at the Indian Republic Day parade.  In 2018, he invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi home on his vacation.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first foreign leader to visit Shinzo Abe's private bungalow.  This shows that the two were friends not only as prime ministers of the two countries, but also as individuals.
