 Lockdown extended in Shanghai: The lockdown in the city has been extended till April 26 amidst reports of increasing public outrage after the death of 11 more patients from Kovid-19 in Shanghai, China on Thursday.  According to reports, the number of people who died during the current wave of corona virus in Shanghai, which has a population of 26 million, has increased to 36.
 According to the data released on Friday, there were 17,629 new cases of infection in the city in the last 24 hours, which is 4.7 percent less than the cases a day earlier.  Since March 1, the total number of infection cases in the city has increased to 4,43,500.  Meanwhile, Shanghai has extended the lockdown period till 26 April.  The fourth week of lockdown is going on in the city.  Along with this, a series of campaigns were started in Shanghai with the aim of removing the Covid-19 transmission chain as soon as possible.
