According to the latest report of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), India has been declared the world leader in passenger load factors (PLF) for domestic flights in 2024, reaching 86.4 percent. The United States and China are in second and third place with 84.1 percent and 83.2 percent, respectively. The report emphasizes the rapid growth of India's aviation sector due to the growing demands of the travel sector and its effective capacity management.
