Former Prime Minister of Netherlands Dries van Agt and his wife Eugenie have said goodbye to the world by voluntary death at the age of 93. Both were 93 years old. The couple died in their hometown Nijmegen.
Both were ill for a long time. For this reason, he sacrificed his life through active euthanasia. Drees was the Prime Minister of the country from 1977 to 1982. The rights group they founded has given information about the couple's death.
The statement said, 'After consulting with the family, we are pleased to announce that our Founder and Chairman Dries van Eggt passed away on Monday, February 5 in his hometown of Nijmegen. He died hand in hand with his wife, Eugenie van Agt-Krekelberg. Both lived together for more than 70 years. He always used to call her 'my girl'. The last rites took place privately. Van Agt and his wife were both 93 years old.'
