Aditya-L1: Mission will reach L1 point by January 6 : S Somnath

After the success of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO is now moving towards setting another record.  India's first solar mission Aditya L-1 will reach its destination on January 6.  The destination of Aditya L-1 is the Lagrangian Point (L1), located 1.5 million km from Earth.  Let us tell you, Aditya L-1 was launched on September 2 from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.

 ISRO chief S Somnath had attended the Indian Science Conference organized by Vigyan Bharati on Friday.  During this time he also talked to the media.  While talking, Somnath said that on January 6, our mission will enter the L1 point.  The exact announcement will be made soon.  When the mission reaches L1, we will have to start the engine once again, so that it does not go any further.  After reaching L-1 it will rotate at the same point.  Once our mission is established there, it will be easier to understand various events happening on the Sun for the next five years.  This will help not only India but the entire world.  The country is becoming powerful.  Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are entering the Amrit Kaal.
