world news:
After half the month of December has passed, the biting cold has now started troubling people.  Not only at night, now the scorching cold is troubling people even during the day, due to which people have taken out their heavy jackets to escape.  This is the situation when the mercury remains above 20 degrees Celsius most of the day.  Now just think about the coldest city in the world, where the weather in winter usually remains around minus 40 degrees.  How would the people there survive in this severe cold?
The name of this coldest city in the world is Yakutsk.  This city is in remote Siberia of Russia.  The distance of this city from Russia's capital Moscow is about 5 thousand km.  This city remains covered with snow throughout the year and the sun is barely visible here.  Due to snowfall all the time in winter, the temperature of this city usually remains around 40 degrees.  Even in summer, the day temperature here hardly reaches 5-10 degrees Celsius.
Living life in Yakutsk in winter is like a difficult struggle.  Due to snowfall, the roads there are always covered with snow.  Due to cold winds and foggy weather, people cannot go out even if they want to.  During winter days the weather there sometimes reaches minus 50 degrees.  In such weather, if a person goes out of the house without adequate warm clothes, his blood freezes and death due to heart attack is certain.
