Mountaineer Baljeet Kaur, 27, was found alive on Tuesday, a day after she went missing from near Camp Four of Mount Annapurna.  They have been rescued by a rescue operation.  Baljeet Kaur has reached her camp safely.  The rescue operation has been a thorough journey.
Earlier, Pioneer Adventure Pasang Sherpa had reported the aerial search team had spotted Baljeet Kaur descending alone towards Camp Four.  The Himalayan Times reported that the Indian women climbers were out of radio contact till Tuesday morning.  She then sent a radio signal and asked for help.  Then an aerial search operation had been launched.
According to the Sherpa, their GPS location indicated an elevation of 7,375 meters (24,193 feet).  She had climbed Mount Annapurna with two Sherpa guides at around 5.15 pm on Monday.  At least three helicopters were deployed to track them down.
In May last year, Baljeet Kaur of Himachal Pradesh conquered Mount Lhotse and became the first Indian climber to climb four 8,000-metre peaks in the same season.  Mount Annapurna is the tenth highest mountain in the world, at an altitude of 8,091 meters above sea level.  Its climb is extremely difficult.
