Rishi Sunak fined by London Police: Prime Minister of Britain (UK) Rishi Sunak (PM Rishi Sunak) has been fined 100 pounds (Seat Belt Fine) for not wearing a seat belt in the car. This is the second time when strict legal action has been taken against Sunak for breaking the rules while in the country's government.
Passengers caught not wearing a seatbelt in London can face an on-the-spot fine of £100, which could increase fivefold if the matter goes to court. The Prime Minister had earlier apologized for the incident and said that it was a mistake of judgement. This was the second fine imposed on Sunak while in the government.
