Delhi Assembly will be the first assembly in the country to be fully illuminated by solar energy

fter the formation of the double engine government, work is starting on ambitious projects in Delhi, which were not expected in the previous years.

In this connection, the foundation stone of a 500 kilowatt solar power plant was laid in the assembly premises on Monday. With this, Delhi Assembly will be the first assembly in the country which will run completely on solar energy.

Lt. Governor VK Saxena, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta were present on this occasion.
