India has successfully tested the indigenous 'Bhargavastra' anti-drone system, further strengthening its defence capabilities. This low-cost system designed and developed by Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited is a revolutionary step in dealing with the growing threat of drone swarms.
On May 13, 2025, the micro rockets of this system were tested rigorously at Gopalpur Seaward Firing Range in Odisha, in which all the set targets were achieved. This achievement reflects another success of India's self-reliant defence policy and 'Make in India' mission.
