Dr. Purnima Devi Barman has been awarded the United Nations Highest Environmental Award- ‘Champion of the Earth-2022'.
Purnima Devi Barman has been working for the conservation of endangered eagles around the world.Dr. Purnima Devi Barman has already received the Green Oscar Award in 2017 and the Government of India's Nari Shakti Award .Dr. Purnima Devi Barman is also involved with the NGO Aranyak.
