On Tuesday, 6 September, Johnson will deliver his last speech as Prime Minister from PM House 10 Downing Street.  He will then travel to Aberdeenshire, Scotland, to hand over his resignation to the Queen.  Right now, Queen Elizabeth is here.  The 96-year-old Queen has trouble walking, so both Johnson and Liz will go to her.  Usually this work is done at Buckingham Palace.

When will Johnson submit his resignation to the Queen?  After this, Liz will meet Queen.  Traditionally this meeting is called 'Kissing Hands' Ceremony.  However, this time in view of the poor health of the queen, this ceremony will be symbolic.  The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Balmoral Castle, Scotland.

The new PM Liz will return to London as soon as the official appointment is made.  Here will be his first speech from 10 Downing Street.

According to London time, Prime Minister Liz will appoint her cabinet after giving a speech at around 4 pm.  The Queen will administer the oath to the ministers on a zoom call.  Their Head of the Department will complete the ritual of handing over the 'Seal or Seal' to the Ministers.

The first meeting of the new cabinet will be held on Wednesday (September 7).  After this, Prime Minister Liz will reach the House (House of Commons) for the first time.
