Vice President CP Radhakrishnan released the book "Amrit Ka Pyala: Ram Janmabhoomi - Challenges and Responses" by Surendra Kumar Pachauri,  former Secretary to the Government of India, at a function held at the Vice President's Enclave in Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President said that the book describes the centuries-old struggle to reclaim the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram and presents the historical narrative with balance, empathy, and academic restraint. He stated that the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya marks a pivotal moment in India's civilizational journey, where faith, history, law, and democracy were reconciled with dignity. He also stated that while thousands of temples have been built elsewhere, none can match the significance of the temple built at the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram.
